Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These terms govern the rights, obligations and responsibilities between Hansoo Labs (“we”) and users of the list3+ app (the “app”).
2. Definitions
- “App” means list3+, the list management application we provide.
- “User” means anyone who downloads and uses the app.
- “Account” means the access created when a user signs in with a Google or Apple account in order to use backup.
- “Paid features” means ad removal and subscriber-only features available through in-app purchase.
3. Publication and amendment of these terms
- We publish these terms in the app and on our website so they can be read at any time.
- We may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law. Amendments are posted at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days in advance where the change disadvantages users.
- Continuing to use the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Users who do not accept may stop using and delete the app.
4. The service
- We provide list and item creation, tagging, search, expense totals and budgets, reminders, export, app lock, and cloud backup and restore.
- App data is stored on your device by default. Unless you run a backup, we do not hold the contents of your lists.
- We may change the service, and will announce significant changes in the app or on the website in advance.
5. Interruption of service
- We may temporarily suspend server-backed features such as backup for maintenance, equipment failure, network outage or force majeure. Lists stored on your device are unaffected.
- If we can no longer provide the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app or on the website and allow time to download your backups.
6. Accounts
- Creating an account is optional. Every feature except backup and subscriber-only features works without signing in.
- We use the sign-in services of Google and Apple and collect only the minimal account information they provide (identifier, email). Details are in our Privacy Policy.
- You can sign out at any time in settings. Signing out does not delete the lists on your device.
7. Account deletion
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account & Backup > Delete account in the app. Your account, backups and entitlement records are deleted together, and this cannot be undone. If you cannot use the app, contact us at the address in section 15.
- Deleting your account does not remove lists stored on your device. Delete the app to remove those.
-
We may restrict or suspend an account if the user:
- uses another person's information or accesses the service by improper means;
- interferes with our servers or with other users; or
- violates applicable law or these terms.
8. Paid features and billing
- Paid features are ad removal (a one-time purchase) and subscriptions (monthly or yearly). Subscriptions include ad removal.
- Payment, billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies. We do not store your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically under the applicable store's policy unless cancelled. Cancel from the subscription management screen of that store.
- Refunds follow each store's refund policy and applicable law. We do not offer refunds outside the stores.
- We may change prices or the composition of paid features; changes do not apply retroactively to periods already paid for.
9. Advertising
We may display advertising to users on the free tier. Purchasing ad removal or subscribing stops ads from being shown. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads, and we are not a party to any dealings between you and an advertiser.
10. Your data and backups
- You own what you enter in the app. We process it only as needed to store and restore backups.
- Backup is a convenience, not your only copy. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important data, for example via the export feature.
- Free and subscribed users each have a limit on how many backups are retained; automatic backup deletes the oldest backup once the limit is reached.
- We are not liable for data loss caused by a lost, damaged or reset device, deletion of the app, or user error.
11. App lock
The app can lock itself, or an individual list, with a passcode and biometrics. The passcode is stored on your device as a hash only, so we cannot see or recover it. If you forget it, use the account re-authentication path the app provides.
12. User obligations
You must not:
- use another person's information or register false information;
- reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute the app, or infringe our intellectual property;
- obtain paid entitlements by improper means or circumvent purchase verification;
- place excessive load on our servers or interfere with normal operation; or
- violate applicable law or these terms.
13. Intellectual property
Rights in the app and its design, trademarks and source code belong to us. You may not copy, distribute, modify or commercially exploit them without our prior consent.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including outages by telecommunications providers.
- The app's expense totals and budget calculations are provided for reference only and are not a basis for accounting, tax or investment decisions.
- Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability to a user will not exceed the amount that user paid within the preceding 12 months. Where applicable law is more favourable to the user, that law applies.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction
